The whole purpose of SAV.. is to save your data. So I don't think this is possible ;)

We do have a weirdly looking parameter on the SAV.. commands:

Save file data . . . . . . . . . SAVFDTA *YES

Which would indicate that this is what you want. However, this is about skipping data in SAVF objects.

In short, AFAIK, you have to do the CLRPFM after the restore.

If you want to save and restore at the same time (over the network) you can use the brilliant SAVRSTOBJ or SAVRSTLIB commands.
