While one does not have to be a professional electrician to know how to
wire things to code, (and conversely, some professional electricians
have been known to cut corners), *YOU DO HAVE TO KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING*
And if you aren't sure, with a certainty that comes from actual
knowledge, rather than from what you *think* you know, then you're
playing Russian roulette.
