Yet another error accessing a web service -- MIDRANGE-L

Got a V7R4 customer box, on which I'm attempting to access an HTTPS web service via calls to HTTPAPI.

And I'm getting an error message I haven't seen before:

(GSKit) Operation is not supported by TLS.

If I look in /tmp/httpapi_debug.txt, I find:

(GSKit) Operation is not supported by TLS. ssl_error(412): (GSKit) Operation is not supported by TLS. SetError() #30: SSL Handshake: (GSKit) Operation is not supported by TLS. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dump of server-side certificate information: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cert Validation Code = 0 (GSKit) An operation which is not valid for the current TLS session state was attempted. ssl_error(5): (GSKit) An operation which is not valid for the current TLS session state was attempted. (GSKit) An operation which is not valid for the current TLS session state was attempted.

I'm guessing that something is missing. But what?
