Hi everyone
Before I forget - we are on V7r3

They say that a little knowledge is a dangerous thing
Well in this instance, I have less than a little - so that must make me a walking nuclear time bomb
Hopefully, this makes sense to someone who can point me in the right direction

We have a number of web service calls being made from our iSeries out to the internet, with no problems
The iSeries also consumes a number of web service calls, but these are from other systems within our company, so they are within our network

We now need to consume a new web service call from another company outside our network into our middleware, that is situated on Azure servers, in the cloud and therefore outside our network, before passing this call down to the AS/400
This new web service works when testing it using the postman software. But that is within our network
When we try to test this from the Azure servers, it is failing, because of the firewalls we have in place

To cut a long story short - we have been told that a proxy server needs to be created, to circumvent this situation

My question is - has anyone else had this problem communicating with an Azure server - and if so - do they have any information as to what needs to be done and they are willing to share that knowledge

As always, all answers gratefully accepted
