Problem with printer HP LSJ PRO M404 -- MIDRANGE-L

Hi all

I have configured in old AS400 the run V5R4 the printer HP LSJ PRO M404;
the printer works, but in a spool for example of 1 pages, print the first 3
pages wait abuot 30 seconds and the print the next 3 pages and so on ..
which could be the problem ? V5R4 i too old ?
