I think that is what I did:

I IPL'ed to the A side and I was in manual mode.  It does prompt you with a "PTF Processing" page but you really can't do anything with the PTF's i.e Apply, because it gives you an error about having the wrong copy of Licensed Internal Code in use.  If you use the APYPTF command, you can't apply immediate, you can only apply delayed, which is what I did.  I IPL'd to the B side and still get the error at start up.  I can eventually get through all the error steps (copy of the memory) but the system halts at with a B6000102 error.

So at this point I guess I'll follow what Rob has sent to update the LIC with the latest respin.  Haven't done that before but at this point there aren't any quick fixes and I am willing to try anything.

Try IPLing to the “A” side and then apply the PTF to the “B” side.

Just applied the latest cume and TR and encountered this error. Looks like there is a PTF that has to be applied permanently prior to applying the PTFs (MF66517). So, how can that be done now? Restore? This guy is HMC controlled so I am not sure how to set the IPL to manual and try to recover..

Happy New Year...?
