Dunno, I'm not administering Microsoft Windows Servers, or Clients. Maybe I'm pampered by the very good work of the Debian Linux team. I can't remember one patch installed via apt-get dist-upgrade breaking things for me since now over 15 years. I wish IBM and others would adopt this sysadmin-friendly way of truly fire & forget for simple "patches".
