Xerox publishes a toolkit that allows you to restore their library to your
system. It contains everything you need to configure the printers as native
to the IBM i using the Xerox drivers. You can even modify the drivers to
use different paper drawers as needed. There is a command (CRTXWSC) that is
used to compile your mods to the drivers, and a command (CRTXDEVPRT) that
is used to create the device descriptions. The best thing is that Xerox
provides this library for free, and they provide periodic updates when new
printers are released.

though the 6500 DN is. I'm assuming the 6510 is just a newer model.
