Re: QojRetrieveJournalEntries

I have looked at the alternatives for getting journal entries for a particular file, so I  can drill down to where it is setting up /new /master accounts as "Idle" (inactive, hide from screen lists), whereas they should get normal status until a user sets them Idle.

I settled on using the API in the subject line, QojRetrieveJournalEntries(), for a couple of reasons.. It returns more information than DSPJRNE or RTVJRNE, plus it seems I'm more comfortable with the precision of APIs than the other alternatives.

If there is an SQL table function, I might consider that.

I searched the midrange archives and searched using duckduckgo.com but I cannot find any examples of the use of this API. I did find something for an API of similar name, QjoRtvJrnReceiverInformation(), with a Jorge Moreno asking for an example of that, and Carsten Flensburg informing him he had sent an example privately. (He had his legitimate reasons, surely, but..)

If anyone has an example he can share I'd really appreciate it. IBM documentation seems complete and detailed, but it's not easy to code.  I'll figure it out eventually, but would like to avoid a long trial-and-error phase.
