I have noticed recently that my 5250 sessions using ACS end after about ten
minutes of inactivity.

This does not match the system values for timeout which is *NONE or any
other setting that I can find.

The ?keepalive? option is turned on in the .hod file but this does not help
either.

The messages I get in the job log as the session is terminated by the system
are:

Message

Level

Text

CPF5140

70

Session stopped

CPF5503

30

Input or output req failed

CPF1358

40

DSCJOB not allowed

CPF1197

50

Job ended due to device error

CPF1164

00

Job ended

What would I need to due to keep the session active until I decide to close
it??
