At this point I'm more worried about how the files created get this
attribute of NO in the first place. :) I found this article in my
diggings and it was a little helpful.

Cause . . . . . : The ALWSAV

*NO

recovery is necessary. If the object

change the ALWSAV attribute to *YES and try

Is there a way to display this attribute on a directory or file? And
what
is the default for when this is set?
