1 of 2: If you hate stepping through menus try DSPSFWRSC instead of GO LICPGM.

2 of 2: I don't suppose you can multipath your software based on release? Or have a configuration and setup screen where they select the path themselves? And give them a choice between the downloading and installing of some 3rd party PDF converter and simply loading TS1?
On a related note it's really easy to add a command exit point program to pipe a command to one solution or another. For example, I have one which will automatically convert SNDDST to SNDEMAIL
