OK, so I DO have it installed on my v7r3 server.

I was using WRKLICINF, but should have used GO LICPGM, option 10.

But there is no equivalent on our v5r4 (or v5r3) partitions. It all comes back to me now. That's why we don't use the Transform services, because our software has to run on v5r4 boxes, which don't have the TS1.

As a general rule I would say load TS1 on all new lpars, upgrades, etc. We're probably talking about $1.95 worth of disk space - nothing to cry "Bloatware!!" over.
