I am able to configure apache. I was just seeing if there is a specific
configuration needed.
I have played with the browser and had partial success. I can enter the
command File://system/share/pdf_file.pdf and this works.
I tried to run it from STRPCCMD and the system responds with :
'file:' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable
program or batch file.
I need to find out how to get it to recognize the File: in the STRPCCMD.

You'll probably eventually figure out how to do this with Netserver.
However, perhaps I should mention that your HTTP server can also be
configured to serve PDF files from a hyperlink.

Background:
I have reports that are AFPDS reports which I convert to a PDF. I
use
NETSERVER to display the PDF on the user's screen in a browser oracrobat.
To achieve this I do a
NET USE I: /DELETE.
followed by
NET USE I: \\SYSTEM_NAME\SHARE /USER:USER_NAME
It prompts for the password which I key in.
Problem:
IBM i rejects the connection with "System error 5 has occurred"

I cannot track down what the OS does not like.
Can anyone help with this issue?
