True about the periods and save and other things.
Another gotcha. A lot (all?) of S/36 used QS36F for the data library.
Note that BRMS will not encrypt any library that starts with Q. Guess
what had to be saved to a save file before the backup then saved in BRMS to
encrypt. Then make sure to omit QS36F from the save so unencrypted data is
not on the tape. That was set up. Years later I came across that
information.
Same thing, just rename it. That project is still on my list, I can not
even count the number of places that are hardcoded. Would love to get out
of the S/36 environment, but if it ain't broke... (Not intending to open a
can of worms so... Just venting a bit. No reply needed).

Granted the commands were different but you couldn't do a SAVLIB LIB(ERP*)
unless the libraries began with ERPperiod. That's the general gist of it
anyway.

If you don't like having to double quote the libraries, then rename them.
No small task but not out of the realm of possibility.

Hello all,

I'm trying to use the ACS Run SQL Script function. I have a library that
I'm trying to query something in that has a period in the middle of the
name, in the format "XXX.XXXXX". For the life of me I can't get it to
work properly, either by using the library name explicitly in my SELECT
statement or even after going into the JDBC configuration and putting the
library in the library list there. Any suggestions?
