It is very far behind, what would be the minimum that we would have to upgrade to so it would work ?

If SMB2 is new to you then that MS OS is very far behind.
7.4 allows SMB3. You can control that though.
Prepare to be belittled if you allow SMB1 though.

I am told with V7R4 there is a new protocol SMBV2, it could cause issue with the fastfax processor mapping a drive to the IBMI, since the processor is on a non-supported MS OS. Has anyone came across this issue?
