This is oh so true! But the more interesting questions come after the build!

How do you start the clamd automatically within IBM i at startup time? Using just clamscan do to scanning will always load and interpret hundreds of Megabytes of AV patterns and thus bring any machine to its knees with sufficient open/close activity. Clamdscan connects via socket to a running clamd (may even run on a remote machine, not even being IBM i, then) and is much less straining on machine resources.
