I had to install a 5394 on a S/36 running at 9600 baud. The remote site was
"only" 5 miles away. Anyway, I had to go to the site one day and brought up
POP to make a change to a procedure. I knew how TVs and terminals "paint" a
screen, but in my office, which was next door to the computer, no big deal.
But at the remote site I could almost count the pixels as they were written
to the screen.

I actually replaced a 5294 with a 5251-12. 5294 died, we had the 5251-12.
Controller thought it was dandy to finally have a terminal close to the
printer. Guess we call that a win.
