I once created a utility RCRTPRTF (Recreate Print File) to recompile an *IPDS PRTF to keep its setting.

You guess not at work right now, but will look up the source, if interested.

Kind regards,

We recently had a major upgrade to our 3rd party billing package.
Prtf attributes were lost during the upgrade, both 3rd party package and our custom prt files.
I need to compare and fix the attributes using the before upgrade and replacing the after upgrade.

I found an old utility I wrote that used TAATOOL/RTVPRTFA to retrieve the attributes from the before upgrade file and then change the after upgrade file to those retrieved attributes.
Doesn't do the compare though.

Didn't know it there were any other newer tools to do this.

Any thoughts from the group.
