The *PUBLIC *EXCLUDE thing is probably a bane in almost every shop.

Especially now that SSH and QSH/PASE is so widely used.

It definitely wouldn't take much effort for a bad actor to start removing IFS files and libraries.

Any shop who cares about IBMi system security should minimally have a FREE audit done which is where you guys and the other security players come in.

I'm not trying to scare anyone Richard. I'm stating that many are not doing the basics which have been discussed ad nauseum for over 30 years.

User profiles with default passwords and user profile objects that are not *public *exclude are two major holes that will sink the ship.
