There are many companies that will do an independent, impartial review and there's also plenty of free scans around that cover the basics.

Yes, this is a vendor post. Not selling anything. Just a friendly heads up to not be a statistic.

I have yet to perform an unsuccessful penetration test. Today I breached a customer's system and elevated my authority to *ALLOBJ in eight minutes. Eight. About as long as it takes to make a pot of coffee. Most of the time it takes anywhere from 30-120 minutes to breach a system.

No fancy tools. Nothing magical.

We as a community absolutely have to close our doors better. It's meat and potatoes security hardening.
