That dialog is the one that takes the user/pw and caches it on the PC so you
only have to sign in once for all the various functions ACS uses. So, It is
sorta the 5250 emulator sign on.

As Rob points out there is the caps lock indicator on the QDSIGNON panel (or
equivalent) already. Users can't look for that?

So, what's the new requirement?

The person who typed up the RFE made this comment: I assume that it is not
possible in the 5250 screen but at least the small GUI window should do it.

I keep thinking about the classic comment about "assume"...

James, does your emulator have the ability to warn users if the caps lock is
on? Something more obvious than the caps lock indicator on the status bar...

Thanks for the reply.
I had hoped it would be for the "Green Screen" signon.

I was reading the list of Enhancements for this new release and see this
one.
"Warn user when logging in if caps lock is on"
I can not find anywhere of how to turn it on or how it works.
I have 1.1.8.7 installed and have tested it and don't see any warning.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
This would eliminate many of our password events.
