The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

I appreciate the input. It's a clear limitation of the general SQL
syntax, but the JT400 team got around that limitation by providing an
IBM i-specific syntax variant in the connection string. I was just
hoping there might be a similar syntax variant for the three-part naming
that just wasn't clearly documented. :)
As that does not seem to be the case, I'll just have to recognize the
limitation and work around it, and to that end your (and others')
suggestions will help.
