I have acquired a couple of QIC tapes that, if formatted as CTGTYPE, come up QIC2DC (as opposed to QIC2GB).

And unfortunately, on the box on which I'm attempting to do a GO SAVE 21 (V4R4 with a 6382/001 drive, marked "4/8GB SLR5 QIC-4GB DC" on the door), it fails on the SAVSYS, apparently because it doesn't like the tape format.

Will these tapes accept a format other than this "QIC2DC"? One that *will* work for a SAVSYS on this box?
