The notes I have for setting up my on-Premises Gateway is:

Connection Name: MyConnection
Server: 99.999.999.999:446 // This may be your problem. I read it
somewhere that you must specify port 446. For me it works
Database: I2404faw // I get this when launching iACS
Schemas, first node under Datasbases
Authenticate: Basic // This is the only authentication
of used so far
Username: rrogerson
Password:
