Subject: Retrieve Server IP in Batch?

I can get the Server IP in an interactive job using the QDCRDEVD API. But this will not work in a batch job. Does Anyone know how to do this, in batch?
I saw a post about running that API before the batch job and putting it in the LDA or something, but I don't see that as a good option.
