1. Communication-> Configure -> Keyboard -> Category drop down -> Menu
Commands
2. Assign "Run the Same" a key (on my Mac I use Meta+Shift+T)
3. Assign "Detach Tab" a key (on my Mac I use Meta+Shift+D)

Now Meta+Shift+T Meta+Shift+D opens a new Tab of the same system and
detachs it to a standalone window.
