Hi all,
I need to understand something more about HTTPS, SQL HTTP Functions and
Java Certificates.

I just published an HTTPS Webservice with "IBM Web Administration for i"
using DCM and with a new local certificate created by the "wizard".

I can consume it through my browser "accepting the unknown certificate" but
if I try to consume the web service with SQL HTTPGETCLOB I got a problem
with the certificate.

*SELECT
SYSTOOLS.HTTPGETCLOB('https://<MYIP:443>/web/services/mywebservice','')
from sysibm.sysdummy1;*

" Message: [SQL4302] ... error "java.security.cert.CertificateException: No
subject alternative names present". ..

Consumer and provider are in the same system! So I suppose HTTPGETCLOB
doesn't use DCM.

OK, let me add the certificate ( to the java environment using QSH (JAva 8
64bit is my default JVM as I can see in a QSH session "java -version")

*keytool -import -trustcacerts -keystore
/QOpenSys/QIBM/ProdData/JavaVM/jdk80/64bit/jre/lib/security/cacerts
-storepass changeit -noprompt -alias faq400db2 -file
/home/FAQ400/faq400db2service.cer*

Retry my SELECT HTTPGETCLOB..., same error

Maybe SQL HTTP Functions are using another Java version? Let me try with
this:

*ADDENVVAR
ENVVAR(IBM_JAVA_OPTIONS)VALUE('-Djavax.net.ssl.trustStore=/QOpenSys/QIBM/ProdData/JavaVM/jdk80/64bit/jre/lib/security/cacerts')
REPLACE(*YES) *

Ok, I got it ... now it works!

Here my question:

1 - How can I see which one JVM SQL HTTP functions use?

Thanks
