I solved the problems as follows:

1. For the test period where no actual printer is required but the S36
environment has to recognize printer devices I have set up a number of
virtual printers of generic type. This way I have a device and an outq for
everything that comes along.
2. When we go live I will delete these virtual printers and set up IP
connected printers that match the old configuration.
