IIRC, in the SQL Server query management interface (whatever it's called) you can select the statement, it'll run only what you select - others will have to verify or deny, it's been awhile since I was in there.

Had a vendor Zoomed in and he was doing that on my PC to use SQL Server to update some files for GoAnywhere. It just seemed weird to me but I just let him fly.
