At password level 0 and 1 the system stores an uppercase password version and a lowercase version. Case sensitivity won't occur until you change your password.

I tried it this morning and it looking pretty good. It then raised a question. What does it do with case sensitivity?

I was able to sign on using upper case only and then again in lower case. I was able to sign on without issue.

So when does case sensitivity work?

I am using password level 3.

Yes there are ways to fix that and I have done so for customers but

We have changed it on two LPARs (Dev and QA) and the other two (Prod
and

DR) will be changed this weekend. Legacy passwords remain good using
all lower case, but once changed, the new passwords must comply with
what restrictions you place upon them.
