Hello Frenk,

I have mounted in my iseries an NFS windows server directory.
I would like to save here and I try to create an image catalog over this nfs directory but i always receive the error "CPD4F06 - Unable to determine absolute path name".
It is possible to make it or I can forget it ?

It tried a few things, had the same non-sense error message as you encountered, and eventually gave up. I wrote a CL creating everything locally, including a 10GiB optical image, as destination for a nightly SAVCHGLIB. When done, it's uploaded it to the local backup storage (Linux). Before the next backup, a cronjob on that storage compresses that image with gzip to save (a lot of) space.

I don’t care about IFS objects, because I don’t use IFS for anything serious on that machine. And I run monthly Save 21 to tape. Works for me.

:wq! PoC
