The webby IBM Navigator for i has ways to display data but the only way to change data is through sql scripting, unless I'm missing something.
I am looking for something I can put a link in an email which the user can click on and edit a simple table, like UPDDTA does in 5250.
I can embed links like
file:\\myibmi\myshare\myDirectory\myfile.csv
I'm looking for something like
http:\\myibmi\something?myschema.mytable
I know that those of you who do not secure your data are probably having a heart attack at the thought of such a thing even though there are a bazillion tools they can download already and get to that same table (and probably many others).

So, if there isn't some such thing how hard is it to generate a program that may be limited to a webby version of upddta of just a particular table?  Something I can imbed as a link into an email?
