That was going to be my reply...

Then I realized that as posted, it seemed Jack wasn't displaying a JSON he
generated...

Personally, I'd let the user just download it and then they could use
whatever JSON view they prefer...

yajl_genOpen() / yajl_genClose() = Open/Close JSON generator. The
genOpenroutine has a parm of *ON or *OFF tells whether JSON is "pretty" or
"compact", so you'd want:

yajl_genOpen(*ON );
