I indeed use PoC’s 9117-520 for heating at CYBER.gent; we recycle pretty much all residual heat from the DC into the office space and slack space.

As per more efficient ways, there are more efficient electrical ways (eg a heat pump), but a heat pump can’t run AIX or IBM i.

Technically true. Not something desired in summer time, though. And for winter time, there are less noisy, less expensive ways to heat than with electricity. At least here in Germany.
