I know you have to protect your niche but is MSS really a growth market? Could they be right? Sure, MSS may be around for quite some time but growth?
I know of local people here who have went to IBM i cloud based solutions.
Does one really expect MSS people to customize software for a client's different customers? Is that more of a role of a consultant versus a MSS provider? The way I see it is a MSS provider would update/patch OS, look for items which need attention (such as disk filling up, etc). Maybe in the case of little to no custom software do some of those type upgrades (for example, our MSS is upgrading IBM Secure Identity Manager).
