Yes you have to fail both resources and remove the battery for at least 1 minute so the system sees it was removed.

Yes, we are thinking that might be an issue.

What's weird to me is that there are two resources but one battery.

So, I guess tech would have to have failed both resources.

We replaced a cache battery in our 5782 SCSI card.

Something didn't go right because we are still seeing an error in one
of the resources.

The 5782 is a double wide card with the SCSI on slot C4 and the batter
in slot C5.

C4 is showing that we replace the battery but C5 is showing battery is
expired.

The battery is physically in the card in the C5 slot.
