× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

Applied some extra PTFs, new IPL, and now it is working fine

Ps: I am doing remote support, the IBM guy did the actual work. At first
he was lost, he wanted to reload the micro code.

Interesting. Your suggestion never worked flawlessly for me. Not on V4R5,
not on V5R2/V5R4, not on V7R2. But again, maybe it's just the last step
after *AFTER* the IPL to rerun option 8 with a *NONE source volume.
