Jim,

If only doing a single system, the order process is simpler using *SAVF
download.

===> SNDPTFORD PTFID((SF99730 *ONLYPRD *ONLYRLS)) PTFPART(*ALL)
RMTCPNAME(*IBMS
RV) RMTNETID(*NETATR) DELIVERY(*LINKONLY) DLVRYFMT(*SAVF) ORDER(*REQUIRED)
REORD
ER(*NO) CHKPTF(*YES) IMGOPT(*DOWNLOAD) IMGDIR(*DFT) IMGPFX(*SRVPVD)
IMGCLG(*NONE
)

===> SNDPTFORD PTFID((SF99731 *ONLYPRD *ONLYRLS)) PTFPART(*ALL)
RMTCPNAME(*IBMS
RV) RMTNETID(*NETATR) DELIVERY(*LINKONLY) DLVRYFMT(*SAVF) ORDER(*REQUIRED)
REORD
ER(*NO) CHKPTF(*YES) IMGOPT(*DOWNLOAD) IMGDIR(*DFT) IMGPFX(*SRVPVD)
IMGCLG(*NONE
)

Then PTF, option 8. Install program temporary fix package

Install Options for Program Temporary Fixes

System:
PENCOR07
ype choices, press Enter.

Device . . . . . . . . . *SERVICE Name, *SERVICE, *NONE

N=No

Prompt for media . . . . 1 1=Single PTF volume set

2=Multiple PTF volume sets

3=Multiple volume sets and

2=Apply immediate, set delayed PTFs
3=Apply only immediate PTFs

You are two back, referencing from my system.

TL20128 Temporarily applied
TL19311 Permanently applied
TL19116 Permanently applied

Also order SF99731, this will order all PTF groups except cume.

I need to bring a v7r3 system at TL19116 up to date cume and groups.

I've read the instructions, but normally don't span such a large time.

This is a very simple standalone system.

Will load from optical download.

No obvious issues but thought I'd check. Any known issues?

Move to V7r4 is later (heavy vendor software upgrade $$).
