I am trying to get either to work (again). Without it, I cannot do a system
save and that is way overdue.

I have tried Ops Console or Lan Console and neither respond.

I may have a port problem with the ethernet line. I need to get into DST to
check it, but have forgotten how to do that? It been a while.

Thanks, Darryl.

I just want to be sure that the terminology is right. It is important.
There is a difference between Operations Console and Lan Console. I
believe Operations Console is as dead as twinax. We've not used that since
very early on in V4. Lan Console is alive and kicking and is second only
to HMC.

I am trying to get my Ops COnsole to work again. I found my ehterline line,
controller and device description were failing.

I want to recreate the line, controller and device but cannot find any
information on this at IBM or Google. What I have found is the part
configuring the PC, which I do not have a problem with.

Can anyone assist with what the line configuration should look like?

TIA

Darryl Freinkel.
