I do not believe NFS is a supported storage medium for VIOS, guests yes, but not VIOS.

It would not make sense anyway to virtualize storage over a virtualized layer. VIOS requires all it's storage to be direct attached. (for that reason)

I've a broad Vmware ESXi background skillset. Vmware supports putting virtual disk files onto NFS. What about VIOS? Block storage only? Or NFS possible?
