Thanks Mark and Rob,

I can get the info from the qry easily enough. Wrote a pgm years ago to get that.
It creates a list of what/how the files are used.

What I was hoping for was a secret decoder ring method of changing the actual qry definition to use the new file library.

If you have the QUSRTOOLS product, it has a DSPQRYUSE command that looks like it does more or less the same thing as what some of the now "missing" magazine articles did.

Or, perhaps you have hardcopy of the old NEWS/400 or iSeriesNEWS magazines from circa 2001-2003, so you can refer to the original articles?

It looks like there are some parameters on the RUNQRY command but not sure how they are used.
I would REALLY prefer not to have to go into each qry and manually change them.
No idea if that is even an option.
