It's now 11:24am and the above is the last message in the joblog of the backup which is still running.

I wonder if an ENDTCPSVR SERVER(*NETSERVER) would be a big help. Keeping in mind we have a rather significant share of past employee data.
Would that end kill active sessions immediately or wait gracefully? I'm hoping kill them immediately as they probably left the darn thing open for the night...
