So if I understand right you're launching the emulator and it's not actually showing or is this not what is happening ?

If you're on Windows 10, you can use the following combination multiple times to toggle until a hidden window reappears: WindowsKey-Right Arrow

Keep hitting that combo until your Window appears. Assuming that's the issue.

I've had issues periodically when I RDP into a machine with single mon, then multiple mons and then exit and go back in. Window gets hidden off screen and WindowsKey-Right Arrow a couple time helps me find it.

Thanks for the personal touch Jack with the voicemail I dont believe that is the problem as nothing is showing in the bottom bar either, the one that you can choose as to what is being displayed However - I know I don't know everything - so let me go looking for that settings file Saying that - what exactly am I looking for?

called, left msg.

Window probably just disappeared. Edit the settings file that describes size and position of window on next startup. Little Java window appearing but offscreen or too small to see ;)
