There must be someplace where the NWSD keeps track of the last network storage space linked to it.
Yesterday, when I unlinked and removed the third and fourth linked spaces, all was well.
But last night the server shut down as a result of a power outage and I couldn't get the client partition to come up because the NWSD was in a failed state on the host partition.
Once I got it varied off, and changed the Online at IPL parameter, I also unlinked the two remaining storage spaces from the NWSD.
Then I linked them again, one at a time, letting the system assign the drive numbers. This time the NWSD varied on normally and the client partition was activated normally.

Thanks for your help.

Best Regards,

Thomas Garvey

There was one where I used to always have to use FRCVRYOFF. Then I changed something in the config and no longer had to do that.
