RE: CPYTOIMPF Zeros before decimal

Jon,
I started to loathe the CPYxxxIMPF type commands when they would blow up with each new release because of enhancements to ccsid, etc.
I too encouraged people to bypass them and read/write directly. Not only do you bypass IBM's "enhancements" but you also get better performance and granularity on error trapping (ie row such and such of the stream file, column such and such is invalid for inclusion on our system because ... type of stuff).

However I can see how some may like those commands for ease of use and want to submit RFE's.
