Hi Conan,
you don't need Navigator for i to upload files to your IFS ...
You can use directly the Integrated File System option from the ACS -
Actions Menu ... and then upload files from your device to IFS
I upload SAVFs to existing SAVF object on my normal Libraries

Are you referring to ACS (Access Client Solutions) or Navigator for i (the
web interface)

It sounds like you are using ACS. I'll bet if you write an RFE for it,
there's a good bet it will get done in the next release or two.
