Are you referring to ACS (Access Client Solutions) or Navigator for i (the web interface)

It sounds like you are using ACS. I'll bet if you write an RFE for it, there's a good bet it will get done in the next release or two.

Just use the Action drop down menu. Unfortunately you can't drag and drop
