Kerwin,

That's just a normal OPTION(47) on the RSTLICPGM command ...

RSTLICPGM LICPGM(5722SS1) DEV(OPTVRT01) OPTION(47)

assuming you have loaded all the installation DVDs in an image catalog and mounted that on virtual optical device named "OPTVRT01" in this example.

You should also be able to do this from GO LICPGM option 11, then page down until you see option 47 and type a "1" next to it and press Enter, then fill in the device ...

Does that help?

All the best,

I need to install the licence program "5770ss1 47 IBM Advanced Data
Security for i".
I am trying to figure out if it is going to require an IPL. Any one have
any ideas or a good resource to look it up? Everything I have found is
very generic.
I normally have help with this type of stuff but flying solo this time.
