Yeah that's the point there. '5250 console' is the term that refers to the IBM i system console. How this 5250 console is be provided depends on many factors, there are at least 6 that I can think of quickly over the years.

If you say 'Supported 5250 consoles' then today you are down to 2. ACS with LAN console on the machine or HMC Console which is also mostly accessed with ACE.
